At just 17 years old, Naysan Tchika (real name: Naysantchika Pierre) is proving herself to be one of the most exciting young voices coming out of Saint-Michel de L’Atalaye. Born on January 12, 2008, her artistry is already catching the attention of fans and music lovers alike. With a voice that is both powerful and beautiful, she brings a fresh energy to every track she touches.

Her influences include Tafa and Riva, two artists who have inspired her passion and sound. But when asked about her dream collaboration, there was no hesitation—Rutshelle. “Paske li gen enèji, stil, ak kreyativite. Mwen admire l. Mwen panse nou ta ka kreye yon bagay espesyal ansanm.”

For Naysan, one of her proudest career moments so far came when she announced the “Simityè” (Cemetery) project. At first, she thought fans weren’t paying attention, but their support proved otherwise. “Se lè m anonse pwojè Simityè an, like te panse fan yo te frèt but m toujou wè yo avè m, sa fè m plezi anpil.” Moments like that show her how much her music truly connects with her audience.

And what’s next? Naysan is gearing up for her first EP, a deeply personal project she describes as her story in musical form. “Mwen kwè nan EP an y’ap konnen tout de mwen, paske EP an preske se istwa ranm. E kè yo ap kontan tou paske map pote yon bon travail pou yo. EP an ap yon sipriz tou paske gen moun ki pat panse si m t’ap ka chante konsa, si m te ka fè afro tout sa. Fan yo ap kontan.”
